    ABOUT THE FOUNDATION

The Rector High School Helping Hands Foundation was established in 2006 as a non-profit 501(c)3 organization.

The Foundation is the result of a multi-generational coalition of Rector High School alumni for the purpose of helping meet the short-term financial needs of disadvantaged students attending Rector, Arkansas public schools.

    OUR MISSION

With guidance from school administrators, teachers and counselors, the Helping Hands Foundation provides funding through Grants to disadvantaged students for basic health care, food & school supplies.

Helping Hands offers Academic Scholarships for higher education to Rector students unable to afford tuition and related expenses.

The Foundation also funds purchases that benefit large groups of students, including musical instruments, athletic equipment and expenses incurred through field trips.
